Maldives Ratifies Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Maldives became the 85th country to ratify the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) on April 5, 2010. The CRPD is the first legally binding human rights treaty to focus on protecting the human rights of people with disabilities.
